The Governors are looking to appoint the following members of staff

Blue Coat Infant and Junior Schools serve a multi-cultural community. Both schools have a strong commitment to high standards and a caring Christian ethos.

We are a Federation of the Blue Coat Infant and Junior schools. The two popular schools share a commitment to high standards and a strong Christian ethos. We enjoy strong support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community. Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools.

LUNCH TIME SUPERVISORS

Salary: Walsall Council Living Wage £8.50 per hour (pro rata) Term-time only
1 hour 15 minutes per day/6 hours 15 minutes per week over lunchtime

Governors are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunch Time Supervisor. The post holder will help support and serve the children in the dining hall and supervise them inside and outside during the lunchtime break.

Successful candidates will be based initially at the Infant School and expected to work Monday to Friday during term time.

LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT

Permanent

Main scale G4 pt16 – pt21 £18,319 – £20,541pro rata
27½ hours per week term time only
To start as soon as possible

The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be based initially in the Junior School but the flexibility to work in any primary key stage is desirable and the successful applicant could be based in either school in the longer term. The successful applicant will be expected to support the learning of individuals or groups of pupils across all subjects.

The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent.

PART-TIME TEACHER (MATERNITY CONTRACT)

THREE DAYS PER WEEK (TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY)
(to cover Maternity)

Main scale or UPS depending on skills and experience

To start: 1st January, 2019

The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective teacher. The successful applicant will be based the Junior School as a floating teacher with responsibility for Year 3 English and maths groups in the morning and providing cover in different Junior School year groups in the afternoon.

The Federation provides a comprehensive professional development programme tailored to the needs of individual staff at all stages of their careers.
