We are a Federation of the Blue Coat Infant and Junior schools.  The two popular schools share a commitment to high standards and a strong Christian ethos.  We enjoy strong support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community.  Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools.

The Governors have created two exciting new positions in the Federation and they are looking to appoint two excellent teachers and leaders.  The Assistant Heads will hold key leadership roles and they will be members of the Executive Leadership Team.  The post holders will be responsible for leading and managing teaching and learning in either the Infant School or the Junior School to ensure high quality provision and strong progress for all the children in their school.  The post holder will also work closely with the Executive Head and Deputy Executive Head to plan and deliver the strategic development of the two schools. The Assistant Heads will not be class based; they will have a group/intervention teaching commitment.

The successful applicants could be based in either the Infant or the Junior School and the flexibility to teach across the primary age range is desirable.

The Governors are looking to appoint an excellent teacher and leader.  The Year Team Leader is a key leadership role.  The post holder, fully supported by the Federation leadership team, is responsible for leading and managing their team to ensure high quality provision and strong progress for all the children in their year group.  The post holder will also lead a curriculum area across the school.  Year Team Leaders are members of the Federation Leadership Team and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to plan and deliver the strategic development of the two schools.
