The Governors are looking to appoint the following members of staff

We enjoy strong support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community. Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools.

LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT

Permanent

Main scale G4 pt16 – pt21 £18,319 – £20,541pro rata
27½ hours per week term time only
To start as soon as possible

The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be based initially in the Junior School but the flexibility to work in any primary key stage is desirable and the successful applicant could be based in either school in the longer term. The successful applicant will be expected to support the learning of individuals or groups of pupils across all subjects.

The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent.

After School Club Play Worker – Level 3

Permanent

Casual contract at least 17 hours per week term time only G5 (pt 20-25)

We are a Federation of the Blue Coat Infant and Junior schools.  The two schools share a commitment to high standards and a strong Christian ethos.  We enjoy strong support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community.  Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools.

Governors are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible an efficient, skilled, hardworking and caring play leader to work in our After School Club (known as Blue Coat Plus).  The Club is very popular with the community and daily sessions are generally full to their capacity of 40.  The successful applicant will lead activities in the Club and work within the Club team to provide a fun and safe caring environment for our pupils.

There is some flexibility around the make-up of the hours required to ensure a manageable working timetable for the successful applicant.

Lunchtime Supervisors

Salary:- Walsall Council Living Wage £8.50 per hour (pro rata) Term-time only

1 hour 15 minutes per day/6 hours 15 minutes per week over lunchtime

Governors are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunch Time Supervisor. The post holder will help support and serve the children in the dining hall and supervise them inside and outside during the lunchtime break.

Successful candidates will be based initially at the Infant School and expected to work Monday to Friday during term time.

At interview, candidates will be asked for photo identification and proof of qualifications. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. We welcome applicants regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or religion.
