Children need to change their home readers regularly. They can earn stickers each time they change their book.

Spellings are sent home on a Wednesday ready to be tested the following Wednesday.

Maths homework is sent home on a Friday and should be returned completed on the following Wednesday in the blue homework folder.

Later in the year children will be bringing home a writing journal on a weekly basis to record and practice different forms of writing.

School Uniform

We insist that all our Year 2 pupils are smartly dressed each day in school uniform.

This includes a school tie, black school shoes and a dark coloured outdoor coat. All items of uniform, including PE kit, must be labelled clearly with your child’s name and class.

Attendance and Punctuality

It is very important that your child comes to school every day and they arrive on time. Please collect your child promptly at 3.10 pm. If there are any problems or changes contact the school asap.
