Right to Appeal

Under the School Standards & Framework Act 1998, you have the right to appeal a decision not to offer a school place. All appeals must be heard within 30 school days as specified in the School Admissions Appeals Code 2022. This means that some appeals that are submitted late in the academic year may not be heard until the start of the new school year in September.

In-Year Appeals are heard by an Independent Appeal Panel arranged by the school’s governing body.

September 2026 round appeal deadline: Friday 17 May 2026.

Contact the Infant School office (01922 720921) for the appeals procedure and to request a form.
