The Ark (SRP)

Welcome to The Ark! The Ark is our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) that is dedicated hub within the mainstream schools. It was established in January 2024 to provide targeted support for students with specific needs. The Ark has a special program that helps children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

Most children with SEND will get the help they need in a mainstream school. Others may need an EHC plan, and some may need to get their education in a special school or a Specialist Resource Provision.

Key Features of the Ark:

·         Focus on specific needs, offering specialized interventions

·         provide opportunities for learning in small groups

·         staffed by teachers with specialist training 

·         individualised learning strategies and adapt the curriculum to meet the specific needs of each student. 

·         a safe and nurturing environment where students can learn and develop their confidence and independence.
